Henning was a student from Germany studying in Manhattan, when he met Allison while in school. He instantly fell for her, the two started dating, and when he returned to Germany, felt that a piece of his life was missing. He left a big soccer opportunity to come back to New York, to be with her. The two chose to have their three day celebration at Il Borro, a beautiful villa set in the rolling hills of Tuscany. The first night was a casual pizza night with pizza made on site in stone ovens. This was time for guests to get to know one another, and get settled into Villa life. The second day hosted a soccer match between Henning and his friends, who all played at a high division in soccer league in Germany. The match was followed by a fun but elegant rehearsal dinner in the gardens of Il Borro. Meats were grilled and salads served as the sun set on the pink hills surrounding the property. Their wedding day was the most spectacular of all, with a candle lit dinner set for 150, fireworks, and a band from the UK to kick off the night.
