Element of Water

Almost exactly a year ago ( I can't believe its been a year already ), I picked up a film camera for the first time in twelve years and headed to Oregon for a workshop with Erich McVey. My intention for going was to learn more about the business side of the wedding industry, meet other creatives, and get some inspiration. I had no idea that I would be completely. blown. off. my. feet. I had no idea I would fall in love with film, fall in love with photography all over again, and not just meet other photographers, but other wonderfully inspiring, creative individuals. It changed the way I see my business, and the way I look at photography. Haha, well said Amy McVey when she said "film is my new boyfriend." Thank you so much for having us in Oregon, and putting together this wonderful experience for us. One year later, I can't even believe how far I've come from 5 days in Bend. These are the images from "The Element of Water," which may have been my favorite collaboration of the week.
